Automation Tester (Playwright & TypeScript)

Warsaw-based opportunity with hybrid work model! (1 day in the office/ week)

As an Automation Tester you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the banking sector, contributing to the development of a high-traffic web application used daily by millions of customers. You will be part of a dedicated Test Automation Team focused on ensuring the reliability, stability, and security of digital banking services. In this role, you will work with modern testing tools, support continuous improvements in CI/CD processes, and collaborate closely with developers, analysts, and testers to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Your main responsibilities:

• Create, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using TypeScript and Playwright

• Collaborate closely with development teams, analysts, and testers to ensure product quality

• Analyze errors and identify root causes of defects

• Implement improvements in testing processes and CI/CD pipelines

• Design, execute, and maintain regression tests for web applications

• Contribute to test documentation and knowledge sharing within the team

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright in building and maintaining automated tests

• Solid knowledge of TypeScript to create clean and scalable test code

• Experience working in CI/CD environments with tools such as Jenkins

• Knowledge of API testing with tools like Postman or SoapUI

• Understanding of version control systems such as Git

• Experience in error analysis and root cause identification

• Strong communication skills with English proficiency at B2 level or higher

• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

• Proactive mindset with focus on process improvements

• Familiarity with databases and ability to work with SQL for test data verification
