Modernize Complex Banking Systems as a .NET Developer!

Łódź based opportunity with remote work model (2 days in the office/month).

As a .NET Developer you will be working for our client, a leading organization in the online banking sector that is transforming its IT landscape into a modern, scalable platform. You will join a technology-focused team supporting various banking products, helping to reduce technical debt and reshape legacy systems into future-ready solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex architectures, collaborate with product teams and architects, and influence the modernization of critical applications in a dynamic environment that values innovation and problem-solving.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend solutions in .NET Core / .NET 6+

• Support the modernization of legacy systems into a modern platform

• Analyze and understand existing code

• Refactor applications and implement new design patterns

• Collaborate with product teams and solution architects

• Ensure adherence to best coding practices and design principles

• Contribute to reducing technical debt across systems

• Participate in technical discussions and propose improvements

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Minimum 4 years of backend development experience in .NET (preferably .NET Core / .NET 6+)

• Strong knowledge of C#

• Experience working with complex system architectures

• Ability to analyze and refactor existing code

• Knowledge of design patterns and programming best practices

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams

• Understanding of technical debt and system modernization

• Familiarity with microservices and containerization concepts

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to diverse technologies

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of WCF (Windows Communication Foundation)

• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) 

• Experience working in the financial sector or with banking systems

• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools
