Main purpose of the position

For the Global Enterprise Architecture (EA) team in ISS, we are looking for an experienced SuccessFactors Domain Architect focusing on ISS’s holistic and global end-to-end HR solution concepts and designs. You will be responsible for building and governing global capabilities and processes within the People & Culture (HR) domain, with a particular emphasis on SAP SuccessFactors and its integration with the broader HR and IT landscape.

You will join a growing global team of Enterprise Architects located across ISS Corporate Headquarters in Copenhagen (Denmark), Warsaw (Poland), and other international ISS locations. As part of this team, you will act as the technical authority for SuccessFactors, shaping the application and technology roadmaps, designing scalable and compliant solutions, and ensuring architectural governance across global HR initiatives.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and own the SuccessFactors domain architecture, defining end-to-end solution designs aligned with ISS’s global HR and IT strategy.

  • Collaborate closely with People & Culture (HR) business leaders to translate functional and strategic needs into scalable digital capabilities.

  • Develop and maintain the HR Domain Model and Capability Map, using these tools to align business and technology stakeholders.

  • Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Recruitment, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation, etc.).

  • Ensure alignment of SuccessFactors integrations with surrounding systems (Payroll, T&A, Analytics, Identity Management).

  • Define and maintain architecture standards, frameworks, and roadmaps for HR IT, ensuring compliance and consistency across all implementations.

  • Provide architectural guidance and governance to Solution Architects and project teams in the HR portfolio.

  • Evaluate new technologies, features, and releases in SuccessFactors, recommending adoption strategies that support ISS’s digital roadmap.

  • Ensure solution quality, performance, and security across all HR systems.

  • Communicate solution concepts effectively across all levels of stakeholders, fostering understanding and alignment.

Who you’ll work with

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in Global IT and People & Culture, supporting the design and delivery of integrated HR solutions. You will also work closely with Solution Architects, Project Managers, and external vendors to ensure that SuccessFactors solutions meet business needs, architectural standards, and compliance requirements.

Key qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in HR IT architecture, with a strong focus on SAP SuccessFactors (implementation, design, or support).

  • Deep understanding of SuccessFactors modules and their technical and functional interdependencies.

  • Proven experience in designing and maintaining HR domain architectures and transformation roadmaps.

  • Experience in integrating SuccessFactors with other enterprise systems (Payroll, Time, Finance, Analytics, etc.).

  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures, APIs, and data management concepts.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

  • Valid work permit for Poland (if based in Warsaw).

  • Relevant certifications in SAP SuccessFactors and/or Enterprise Architecture (e.g., TOGAF) are an advantage.
