Together with Airpay we're scaling up our automation capabilities and looking for mid-level Software Engineer with Python to join our team for a 6 months project.
Location: Remote (with ~4-hour overlap with New York time zone).

About the Role
You will be responsible for automating complex healthcare payment workflows, ensuring seamless interactions between carrier websites and practice software, driving efficiency across revenue cycle operations. Your expertise in web automation, RPA, and API integrations will be crucial in streamlining eligibility verification, patient payments, claims processing, and payment reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Healthcare Workflow Automation: Design and implement automation solutions to streamline payer website interactions, eligibility verification, claims processing, and payments;
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, product to ensure alignment and successful implementation of automation initiatives;
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance system performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
- You have at least 3 years of Python development experience;
- You have proven experience with automation platforms such as Selenium, Playwright, or RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere);
- You have working knowledge of asynchronous programming (e.g., asyncio, aiohttp);
- You are able to work independently and iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment;
- You are comfortable communicating with a small technical team.
