Since 2007, Inuits is leading the open source way, initially in Belgium and later on as well in the Netherlands, Ukraine, and Czech Republic, and since last year also in Kraków, Poland. We support clients with a variety of solutions, ranging from our BPM engine, our IoT platform, DAM package, a PoS software platform running in 10's shops, ... and do invest in Research and Development. We use our longstanding knowledge of open-source technologies to create the foundation for a more efficient and technology-driven world. By organizing monthly events and attending conferences we stay up-to-date about the newest technologies.

About the role:

As a Back-end Developer, you will work with a cross-functional team of Open Source enthusiasts. Our customers are active in sectors going from the transport and port industry to satellite communication and the public sector.

You are going to join a team that is working on an application called SQS. It is an application that was built for Scania and supports their order to delivery, from creating/calculating quotes to legally binding, signed contracts. The application is currently being used in over 10 countries, with a potential growth of 40+ countries. The team works in a structured, code reviewing/supporting way, using concepts like clean code architecture, domain, and test-driven development, etc.

What you will take on:

Developing software that helps Scania from going to sales project to the market by working with:

Calculations;
Validations of inputs;
API calls;
BI metrics;
Kafka integrations.

What you already have:

2 - 3 years of professional experience programming in PHP and/or Symphony;
1 year of professional experience programming in Vue.js, Typescript, or any other frontend technology;
Experience in Docker;
Knowledge of Jenkins is an asset;
Basic knowledge of code architecture.

You have an agile mindset;
You are interested in learning new things, and you are flexible;
But most importantly, you are motivated and have a passion for Open Source.

Education:

You preferably have a bachelor’s degree in an IT technical field or relevant work experience.
