DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our client Airpay, supporting their growing engineering team in building reliable, compliant, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS;

• Build, maintain, and improve Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform;

• Design and manage containerized environments using Docker;

• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows;

• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application performance;

• Ensure compliance and security standards are followed, particularly in healthcare-related contexts;

• Support the team’s transition from a single-developer environment to a scalable DevOps practice;

• Provide early-morning coverage for the US-based team.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role;

• Strong expertise with AWS, Terraform, and Docker containerization;

• Experience with Python or similar scripting languages;

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and modern DevOps practices;

• Familiarity with compliance requirements (HIPAA or healthcare domain experience is a plus);

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of projects;

• Excellent communication skills in English.
