We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Delivery Lead to join a multi-year banking transformation project, leading cross-border teams and driving data quality initiatives in a highly regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Finance Leadership, Peer Delivery teams, and Cross-Bank Functions to uphold, enhance, and drive the Finance Data Quality & Remediation Strategy;
  • Lead a team of 5-10 members across Ireland and other locations, fostering a cooperative environment that ensures consistent, high-quality, and predictable outcomes;
  • Work closely with peer banking functions, particularly the Group Data Office, to align the Finance Data Quality & Remediation (DQ&R) strategy with broader organizational goals;
  • Manage, sustain, and implement the core plan to ensure stakeholders receive the highest level of transparency.

Must have skills:

  • A Computer Science degree;
  • Expertise in the technology stack, particularly databases, SQL, and ETL tools;
  • DQ experience is a must-have (ideally from banking), also must have DQ tool experience (ideally IDQ Informatica or must have equivalent DQ tool experience);
  • Over 10 years of experience in enterprise IT projects;
  • More than 7 years of working directly with end users in Financial Institutions;
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience, with the passion and capability to continue leading;
  • A proven track record of developing and implementing production-ready systems, preferably in highly regulated financial environments, with hands-on experience working with end users and making substantial system improvements;
  • Strong leadership, management, and influencing skills across both onshore and nearshore teams, with the ability to thrive in a matrix organization;
  • A strategic thinker who can develop and implement strategies while remaining detail-oriented enough to coach and collaborate with developers.

Preferred skills:

  • Hands-on Agile experience with a focus on delivering outcomes rather than just following methodologies;
  • Knowledge of Axon;
  • Expertise in BCBS Data delivery.

The recruitment process includes:

  • HR screening 30min Zoom call;
  • 1h technical interview;
  • General call with the team leader;
  • Making an offer meeting.
