We’re currently seeking a passionate freelance Senior Backend Developer (Cloud) to join our projects ASAP. As a freelancer cooperating with intent, you'll have the opportunity to work on diverse IoT projects, leveraging your expertise in backend and cloud technologies.
About intent
intent has over 10+ years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, and building apps for IoT and connected devices. We act as a specialized think partner for products at the intersection of physical and digital (such as wearables and IoT), working with companies like Oura, BOSE, and McIntosh audio systems.
Projects: smart bracelet, smart glucometer, automotive project for electric vehicles.
💎 Requirements:
- Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Timestream, EMR).
- Experience with node.js/next.js, Typescript.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Experience with MQTT for messaging protocols.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
- Advanced knowledge of backend development, cloud architecture, and distributed systems.
- English proficiency (min. B2).
💰 Salary:
- 15-25K PLN net on a B2B contract (depending on experience).

What You’ll Do:
- Build and maintain scalable backend and cloud solutions for IoT projects.
- Optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud deployments.
- Develop high-performance and secure backend services.
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams.
- Improve system reliability by fixing issues reported by the QA team.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
