Senior Node.js Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Node.js Developer to join the team of our Austrian client. The main goals of the project are to migrate a legacy solution to the AWS cloud and to build new APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

What you’ll be doing:

• Migrating a legacy on-premise solution to the AWS environment.

• Designing and building new APIs to support system integration and scalability.

• Refactoring existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and overall quality.

• Developing new features and functionalities based on business and project requirements.

• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to support development and operations.

You will be the best fit if you have:

• 4+ years of experience as a Backend or Full-stack Developer using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.

• Experience with AWS services - strong understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.

• Solid understanding of RESTful API design.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins).

• Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB).

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• English level B2 or higher.

• Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

• Step 2 - Meeting with our Node.js Team Lead as a technical interviewer. Here you can show us your experience, knowledge about Node. js Development tools you have been using, methodologies as well as your approach to coding.

• Step 3 - Final stage. A technical interview with the client-side developers.
