1000+ insurance brokers and 50+ underwriting companies log into Insly every day to design and launch their insurance products, manage business-critical operations and support writing over €1bn in premiums. But we’re just getting started. 

We are seeking a Frontend Developer to build high-performance web applications that deliver functional and visually appealing solutions for our customers. In this role, you will translate business and customer needs into interactive applications, ensuring they are optimised for performance, scalability, and maintainability. The ideal candidate values collaboration, clean code, and continuous improvement.

About the role

Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality, responsive, and accessible frontend applications.

• Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code following best practices.

• Cover code with unit tests and user acceptance tests to ensure feature quality and prevent regressions.

• Refactor, optimise, and enhance the existing codebase to improve stability and scalability.

• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development.

• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback.

• Work closely with internal teams to find the most efficient and effective solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.

• 3+ years of professional hands-on experience with React.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Experience with front-end build, packaging, and deployment tools (Webpack, Jenkins, npm, or yarn).

• Understanding of REST principles and knowledge of Git.

• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• General can-do attitude and critical thinking.

• Very good verbal and written English skills.
