Senior Java Developer

Client: banking industry

Hourly Rate: up to 165 PLN + VAT

Location: Gdansk or Gdynia, Poland

Work arrangement: hybrid, twice per week in the office, full-time

For our Client from the banking industry, we are looking for a Senior IT Developer.

You will be joining the Liquidity and ALM team, where both current and future data and analytical solutions are being developed within Group Finance.

Must-have:

• Solid hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Experience working with GIT

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Good analytical thinking – ability to break down features and contribute to application design

• Fluent English for daily communication

Nice to have:

• Experience with:

• Snowflake

• Kotlin

• Kafka

• Grafana

• Docker

• Kubernetes

Interests in:

• BDD

• CI/CD

• Clean Code

• Event-sourcing architecture patterns

• Good practices like Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Project experience in:

• Working in Agile-driven projects

• Building microservices architecture

• Consuming data from API services

• Implementing concurrency (e.g. multi-threading) using modern solutions like Coroutines, Virtual Threads, etc.

• Creating highly-available and high-throughput applications (both batch and stream processing)
