Platform Engineer
About Us
INNERGY is a product with over 9 years of history on the market. Our team consists of more than 100 people (over half based in Poland, the rest in the USA and Australia), combining unique knowledge, experience, and skills. The atmosphere of a small product-focused company, combined with the business expertise of large organizations that have invested in us, has helped us gain over 400 customers from the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be part of a team that acts as a bridge between infrastructure and product development. We mean building the platform that makes developers' lives easier.
In practice, that means you’ll:
Build and evolve delivery pipelines using GitLab, Helm, ArgoCD and Terraform.
Help teams containerize applications and deploy them efficiently on Azure AKS.
Create self-service solutions and automation that remove friction from the development process.
Research, prototype, and deliver platform capabilities that enable teams to independently manage their delivery pipelines, environments, and cloud costs.
Build and maintain shared internal NuGet libraries and reusable Helm charts.
Partner with development teams to understand their pain points, and turn them into elegant solutions.
We operate in the spirit of Team Topologies. As a Platform Team, our success is measured by how effectively we help product teams move faster and safer; not by how many rules we enforce.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in .NET software development, and 2+ years in a platform or DevOps engineering role.
Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts (GitLab preferred).
Practical experience with Kubernetes and Helm (we run on Azure AKS).
Familiarity with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus).
Comfortably managing both Windows Server and Linux environments.
Proactive mindset and curiosity
English at a communicative level (B2/C1).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu
Experience with internal developer platforms and portals (e.g. Backstage, Windmill).
Experience in maintaining shared .NET SDKs, NuGet feeds or internal CLI tools.
Experience with GitOps patterns and ArgoCD
Knowledge of supply-chain security processes in CI/CD (SBOM, signed images, vulnerability scanning).
Familiarity with Team Topologies concepts
Interest in AI-assisted development (GitLab Duo, GitHub Copilot, or local LLM setups).
What You’ll Get in Return
Real impact on how 50+ engineers build and ship software every day.
Work with an ambitious team focused on collaboration and developer experience.
Occasional workshops and meetups in Poland (we’re remote-first).
Direct impact on the development of a global product
Working with modern technologies
Medical care (LuxMed) and a Benefit MultiSport card (UoP)
Opportunity to travel to the USA for industry events or client meetings
Stable employment (B2B or employment contract)
An AI-supporting environment. We actively encourage using tools like Cursor, Copilot, ChatGPT or similar to accelerate work, learning and innovation
What’s Next for Our Platform
Implement GitOps practices. Gradually move towards fully ArgoCD-managed deployments across all services
Introduce ephemeral (on-demand) development and testing environments
Research and roll out a unified cost-observability solution; enabling dev teams to understand and optimize their application-level cluster costs.
Design and implement a robust Feature Flags solution: whether built in-house or integrated from a third-party tool.
How We Work
We are a fully remote company, but we expect you to join us in person several times a year for team meetups and workshops. These events are essential for building strong collaboration and alignment.
Cultural fit is extremely important to us — we’re looking for people who resonate with our values and want to grow with the team long-term.
Our core values include:
Voice of the Customer – we listen, adapt, and act
Agile as Hell – we iterate quickly and value flexibility
Transparency – we’re open, honest, and straightforward
Empowering Others – we support each other and encourage ownership
