PHP Developer

About This Role:

We’re looking for an independently contracted full-time Manager, Software Engineer to join our Engineering team collaborating closely with the Head of Engineering. This is a hybrid role based out of our Wroclaw, Poland.

In this role, you’ll play a key role in leading multiple development teams working on client’s market-leading Community SaaS platform by improving development processes, helping new teams grow, boosting efficiency, and ensuring the reliability of deployed code. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a technically complex and scalable systems environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering leaders. The ideal candidate brings strong skills in technical guidance, team mentorship, and driving operational improvements.

What You'll Do: 

• Lead and coach multiple engineering teams.

• Facilitate detailed technical discussions and ensure high-quality delivery.

• Partner with Product and Design to align on goals and execution.

• Improve processes for efficiency, quality, and reliability.

• Drive a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For: 

• 7+ years in software engineering, including 3+ years in engineering management.

• Proven experience guiding technical discussions and improving team processes.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.

• Experience with SaaS products and cloud environments.
