We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer / AI Service Reliability Engineer to play a pivotal role in enabling, scaling, and securing AI assistant tools (Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, etc.) across Cisco. You’ll work at the crossroads of infrastructure, security, and developer experience, ensuring our AI platforms are accessible, compliant, and reliable for thousands of users.

🔹 What You’ll Do

• Lead the enterprise enablement of AI coding assistants—from onboarding and provisioning to security and integration.

• Be the primary point of contact for support, ensuring reliability, issue resolution, and smooth adoption across diverse teams.

• Own reliability, scalability, and security of Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters across dev/stage/prod environments.

• Design and manage internal workflows: GitOps (Argo CD), Helm/Kustomize, RBAC, quotas, ingress/egress.

• Manage and optimize Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB with HA, tuning, and backup/restore strategies.

• Build end-to-end observability stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, SLO/SLI frameworks, alerting, and runbooks.

• Automate operations with Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible.

• Collaborate with InfoSec, Legal, and IT to enforce security and compliance standards.

🔹 What You’ll Bring

• 6+ years in SRE, Platform, or DevOps roles with deep production support and automation experience.

• Strong expertise in Kubernetes/OpenShift and GitOps workflows.

• Proven hands-on experience with Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB in production.

• Experience building observability and support tooling at scale.

• Advanced scripting skills (Bash, Python) and CI/CD know-how (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Strong background in security, compliance, and onboarding third-party tools.

• Excellent problem-solving & communication skills to support cross-functional collaboration.

• Track record of driving enterprise enablement and adoption of new platforms.

🔹 Nice to Have

• Experience in Cisco environments or large-scale enterprise systems.

• Familiarity with CASB, DLP, proxy management, and enterprise egress controls.

• Experience with PostgreSQL HA (Patroni), Redis Sentinel/Cluster, MongoDB Atlas.

• Exposure to air-gapped deployments, VPN-constrained migrations, policy-as-code frameworks (OPA).
