Kubernetes and Databases Administrator

Project

As a Kubernetes and Databases Administrator, you will be supporting mission-critical applications and the infrastructure of our global enterprise customers.

You will

• Handle Incidents and Changes of 24x7x365 mission-critical infrastructure.
• Work with 3rd-level teams to solve incidents.
• Analyze and troubleshoot incidents using Grafana, Kibana, and Prometheus monitoring tools.
• Implement change tasks according to the given runbooks.

Must have

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering.
• About three years of experience in a similar position. 
• Thorough knowledge of Linux, preferably RedHat and SUSE.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/Podman.
• Good networking know-how: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTPS.
• Basic experience in monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana/ELK Stack.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Oracle.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with AWS (EKS, ECR, CloudWatch, DynamoDB).
• Willingness to work on weekends and holidays.
• Being a team player with good communication skills.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience in Java-based application support.
• German.
