Integration Developer
About the role:
The Integration Developer is responsible for the design, development, monitoring, and support of all integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and client's surrounding application landscape, primarily via Oracle Integration Cloud OIC. This role ensures timely and accurate data exchanges and drives integration reliability
Requirements:
Monitor OIC instances daily — roughly 20+ scheduled integrations (e.g. daily rates, inbound/outbound feeds); detect and resolve failures promptly Resolve minor defects (as needed): B2B & EDI trading partner issues, API Management, PGP key generation/rotation, OIC storage limit management
Deliver minor enhancements (3 projects/year, up to 120 hrs each): modify existing integrations and build new integrations to interface with new data sources
Perform quarterly patch testing (4 /year): patching and upgrades as scheduled by Oracle
Perform incident analysis and RCA for recurring integration issues; implement corrective and preventive actions; adjust mappings, schedules, and error handling logic
Design, develop, test, and deploy new integrations in accordance with client's architecture principles and Oracle recommended practices
Maintain comprehensive integration documentation: interface inventories, data mapping documents, sequence diagrams, support procedures
Provide regular integration performance metrics: volumes processed, failure/retry rates, MTTD, and MTTR
Track all work in client's ITSM tool (SolarWinds)
Attend daily stand-up calls during client business hours (8AM - 5PM Pacific)
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud OIC — design, development, monitoring, and troubleshooting
Strong experience with B2B, EDI, and API Management within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem
Proficiency in building OIC integrations: REST/SOAP adapters, Oracle ERP Cloud adapter, FTP adapter, scheduled orchestrations
Experience with PGP encryption key generation, rotation, and management
Solid understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP data models and interfaces (Finance, HCM, Procurement)
Experience with OIC error handling, retry logic, and storage management
Proven ability to document integrations: data mappings, sequence diagrams, runbooks
Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly patch impact analysis for integrations Strong troubleshooting, RCA, and communication skills
High proficiency in written and spoken English
Nice to Have:
Experience with Oracle VBCS or other PaaS extensions
Familiarity with Oracle EPM Cloud integrations
Oracle Integration Cloud certification
Prior managed services / outsourcing experience
Familiarity with Agile delivery and ITSM tools
