HCM Analyst
About the role:
The HCM Analyst is responsible for the functional support, maintenance, and enhancement of our client's Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM suite Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management, Learn & Performance) and Taleo Business Edition. This role ensures HR business processes run smoothly and evolve with organizational needs.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the Oracle Fusion HCM instance — including support for the annual Performance & Compensation cycle, annual Open Enrollment, Holiday Calendar setup for 7 legal employers, HDL data loads for elements/salary grades, and compensation statement updates
Resolve minor defects (30 tickets/year): issues with onboarding new employees, benefits enrollment problems due to life event changes, Taleo Oracle integration issues
Resolve major defects (15 tickets/year): HR workflow & notification failures, issues affecting non-US staff (e.g. time-off requests), and upstream/downstream impact analysis
Deliver minor enhancements (5 projects/year, up to 120 hrs each): enabling new quarterly upgrade features, changes to benefit plans, Oracle-ADP integration modifications, approval workflow changes
Perform quarterly patch testing (4 /year) for Oracle Cloud HCM — test execution, result documentation, impact analysis, and new feature documentation
Provide Taleo Business Edition support — design, development, and maintenance
Proactively recommend process improvements across the HCM landscape
Develop and maintain functional documentation: process flows, configuration workbooks, SOPs Track all work in client’s ITSM tool (SolarWinds)
Attend daily stand-up calls during business hours (8AM - 5PM Pacific)
Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Absence Management)
Experience with Oracle Learning and Performance Management modules
Working knowledge of Taleo Business Edition — configuration, integration, and support
Experience with HCM Data Loader HDL) and data migration/load processes
Familiarity with Oracle-ADP integrations or similar payroll interfaces
Proven ability to support annual HR cycles (Open Enrollment, Compensation, Performance)
Experience with quarterly Oracle HCM patch impact analysis and testing
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
High proficiency in written and spoken English

Experience with Oracle Time & Labor
Oracle Cloud HCM certification
Prior managed services / outsourcing experience
Familiarity with Agile delivery and ITSM tools
