To feel comfortable in this role it'd be great to have:
- Professional experience with GCP / AWS / Azure (GCP preferred)
- Experience in creating and managing Docker-based containers
- Experience in configuring Kubernetes-based solutions and clusters
- Experience with tools to define Infrastructure as a Code (e.g. Terraform)
- Experience in implementing CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines)
- Knowledge of security issues
- Fluent English – written and spoken
It would be even better if you have:
- Experience in the configuration of centralized logs, metrics, and monitoring (e.g. GCP Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry, ELK Stack)
- Knowledge of Big Data technology, especially in the context of cloud solutions (BigQuery)
- Knowledge of GitOps (configuration of Kubernetes using e.g. Flux, Helm)
- Secrets management (HashiCorp Vault)
- Experience in management developers' systems workstations based on macOS, Windows
Your daily tasks will be related to matters of:
- Configuration of Google Cloud Platform services
- Development and monitoring of infrastructure (test and production environments)
- Identifying and solving problems performance- and security-related
- Proposing and implementing repetitive tasks automation
- Collaborating with other team members on task development and implementation
- Providing support for development teams in deployment-related topics
- Collaborating with and supporting data science, marketing, and customer success teams in data acquisition and tool integration
