Senior DevOps Engineer

For our client, we are seeking specialists for the position DevOps Engineer with OpenStack i CEPH.

Job Description

• Planning, designing, installing, and developing Linux server infrastructure based on Ubuntu, as well as administration and maintenance of highly available OpenStack clouds.
• Managing performance, capacity, and availability of Linux servers.
• Ensuring system operability using a ticketing system (troubleshooting, 2nd/3rd level support).
• Adapting and creating automation and system configuration processes (scripting).
• Providing IT security support, including implementing hardening and securing servers and services running on them.
• On-call shifts, 2nd/3rd level support.

Technologies:

• OpenStack (on-premises, 6 environments, 250 virtual machines, vanilla stack).
• CEPH.
• Ansible Playbooks.
• GitLab Pipelines (on-premises).
• OpenQRM (custom system).

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of operations in Linux environments.
• Experience with Ansible Playbooks.
• Familiarity with GitLab Pipelines (on-premises).
• Experience in OpenStack administration and cloud-oriented systems.
• Scripting and process automation skills.
• Availability for on-call shifts (night/weekend shifts in rotation with colleagues from Germany).
• Polish and English at a minimum B2 level.

Additional Assets:

• Knowledge of CEPH.
• Experience with monitoring systems.
• Interest in IT security and cloud infrastructure management.
