We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer, motivated by a strong software engineering culture. Our tight-knit, high-performance engineering team is responsible for developing and strengthening the app that allows independent professionals to connect and collaborate with a diverse network of potential customers and other talented professionals.
The Senior Frontend Engineer will be working with one of our multi-functional Scrum teams alongside Backend Engineers, QAs, Designers and Product Owners ensuring that we deliver our customers the product of the highest quality.
In this role, you’ll
- Design, develop and implement quality best-in-class frontend code using leading-edge UX techniques across a broad array of interactive web projects
- Implement great designs that balance challenging customer needs with application performance
- Analyze, recommend and utilize proper programming methodologies and adhere to coding standards, procedures, and techniques
- Create clean, maintainable, cross-browser compatible code from mockups
- Data-informed product development: Analytics, A/B testing, etc
What you’ll bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing web applications with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 3+ years of experience with React and Redux
- Experience with other HTML, CSS, and JS Frameworks (Angular, Backbone, Foundation, Bootstrap, etc)
- Experience integrating with external products from third-party vendors, open source platforms, RESTful Web Services, and other related technologies
- Thorough knowledge of best responsive development practices
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
- Understanding of UI/UX
- English B1+
Bonus points
- Proficiency with Content Management Systems (Strapi)
- Experience with Node.js
