Senior .NET Developer with Azure

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Senior .NET Developer with Azure at IMPACT, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining solutions within the Microsoft Azure cloud environment. Collaborating closely with various teams, you will translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud solutions, focusing on e-commerce projects utilizing headless and composable architecture. You will work with some of the largest brands in the Retail, Brands, and B2B sectors across Scandinavia.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Azure services, cloud architecture, and software development, with a proven track record of successful projects. 

These solutions are all based on modern architecture patterns and technologies. We have a great mentoring capability within the organisation that will allow you to upskill in new technologies that you might not be as confident in., and you will be working with our great clients such as Ganni, Imerco and more.

Your primary focus areas will be:

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using Azure services such as Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Service Bus, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, formulate solution proposals, and deliver scalable and efficient e-commerce solutions that meet business needs.
• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and compliant with industry standards and company policies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure-based applications and services to ensure high availability and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including architecture diagrams, data models, and process flows.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and technologies, and evaluate their potential impact on current and future projects.
• Work with DevOps teams to automate deployment, continuous integration, and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Establish and enforce best practices for cloud strategy, architecture, and governance.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

YOUR PROFILE

• 3+ years of experience working with Microsoft Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and cloud integration patterns.
• Proficient in C#
• Experience with RESTful web services, as well as API design and management.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, and an understanding of data storage and retrieval patterns in a cloud environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
