Our team designs engaging AI interactions using state-of-the-art language models, speech technologies, and emotion analysis systems to deliver transformative educational and therapeutic experiences.

About the role

Currently, we are looking for a React.js Frontend Developer with MUI experience. But if you’re familiar just with Material Design, that’s fine too – we believe that with a strong foundation, you can quickly learn MUI.

About the team

We are a growing web team at Immersion Labs, bringing together strong expertise in fullstack development, UI/UX design, and technical leadership. We value autonomy and trust our team members to take ownership of their work, while always having each other’s backs. Our current setup gives us a solid foundation, but with exciting challenges ahead, we’re looking for more hands on deck to keep up with the pace.

We work on our own flagship project – an AI-powered Learning Management System – and its related applications. No body leasing. We also have a dedicated R&D department that experiments with new technologies and approaches while leveraging Requirements Engineering to maintain a structured workflow with clear documentation and specifications.

We’re not a typical software house – our focus is on spatial and training technology, creating advanced solutions that redefine how people learn and interact with digital environments. As we expand, we’re doubling down on cutting-edge training tech, integrating AI, immersive experiences, and innovative learning methodologies to push the boundaries of education and professional development.

Your main responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining frontend applications for online platforms
• Implementing layouts based on MUI
• Integrating frontend with backend using REST API
• Collaborating with the Project Owner on the requirements, backend team, UX/UI designer and DevOps
• Contributing to defining frontend development standards within the company

We will be a match if you…

• have 3+ years (Mid) / 5+ years (Senior) of experience in React.js and web application development
• have experience with Material UI (MUI), but if you’re familiar only with Material Design, you’ll still be a great fit!
• have experience in integrating frontend with REST API
• know Git and Unified Modelling Language (UML)
• have experience in writing unit and integration tests
• can think analytically
• have a working proficiency in English that allows for smooth communication in a professional setting
