We’re now looking for a passionate Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our AI team, collaborating directly with our Chief AI Engineer and experienced team members.

Your Mission

Assist in the development, deployment, and optimization of machine learning models and data pipelines. You'll be hands-on, ensuring the quality, accuracy, and efficiency of our data-driven diagnostics systems.

What You’ll Do

• Support Data Operations:
• Manage and monitor data quality, preparation, and preprocessing tasks.
• Handle dataset annotation, data cleaning, and basic feature engineering.
• Machine Learning Assistance:
• Execute scripts and manage workflows established by senior ML engineers.
• Support training, validation, and testing of ML models.
• Technical Support and Documentation:
• Maintain clear documentation of processes, workflows, and technical procedures.
• Help in troubleshooting and debugging ML pipeline issues.
• Collaboration:
• Closely collaborate with the Chief AI Engineer and the broader tech team on ongoing ML and AI projects.
• Communicate effectively with clinical and technical stakeholders to translate needs into actionable tasks.

What We’re Looking For

• Basic ML Knowledge:
• Familiarity with Python programming and libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and techniques.
• Data Engineering Basics:
• Experience or strong interest in handling datasets, data cleaning, and preprocessing.
• Technical Aptitude:
• Comfortable with basic shell scripting, command-line interfaces, and version control (Git).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like GCP is a plus, but not required.
• Statistical and Algorithmic Skills:
• Basic knowledge in statistical interpretation of data.
• Familiarity with data processing algorithms.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Detail-oriented and committed to quality and precision.

Bonus Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):

• Previous experience in MedTech or healthcare-related ML projects.
• Exposure to GCP, cloud infrastructure, or data pipelines.
