Your role in the Team's Success

As a Senior Android Developer you'll collaborate closely with business stakeholders and the European leadership team, playing a pivotal role in product decision-making.

Our team values and promotes XP practices such as pair programming, Test-Driven Development (TDD), and continuous integration (CI), to enhance collaboration and ensure top-notch code quality. We value high engineering standards and use Dora Metrics to measure and improve our delivery process.

What you'll do

1. Work with and own the code base for our Android platforms
2. Write application code using Kotlin
3. Maintain shared behavior logic written in Java
4. Improve the code quality of a large code base
5. Participate in full application lifecycle (concept, design, build, deploy, test, and release to the app store)
6. Solve the type of challenging engineering problems that come with building a highly interactive trading experience
7. Collaborate with the backend development team to enhance our UI experience
8. Partner with our product, design to customize the trading experience for the Android platforms

What you'll need for this role

1. You’ve built complex applications for Android using Kotlin
2. You’ve shipped Android applications to production
3. You have experience working with large code bases, managing a shared REST API library, and writing unit tests
4. You are able to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment to deliver well-designed, reusable, and high-quality code on time
5. Experience with Fastlane
6. Cross-Platform experience a plus (iOS + Android)
7. Experience with dependency management tools (Gradle/Maven)
8. A passion for UI/UX design
9. Experience trading equities, equity options, futures, or futures options a plus.
10. Experience in TDD, CI
