Your role in the Team's success

Trading is the core of the IG business and is a data rich environment.


As a member of the Trading/Quants team you will be close to the core of the IG business. You will learn how trading functions and what the key drivers of profitability are for our business. You will report to quants team which exposes you to a technical team with lots of opportunities to learn.


What you’ll do

  • You will run queries to meet the requirements of the trading/quants area
  • You will develop processes for regular automated reporting for trading area
  • You will provide sales teams with reporting support for their key performance indicators
  • You will build data visualizations for the trading area


What you’ll need for this role

We are seeking the analyst who can process and present data to assist in decisions to optimise revenue within our trading function.


  • Experience of data processing and visualization
  • Experience using Python, SQL, MS Excel, git
  • Communication and collaboration skills. You’ll be working across a number of different
  • stakeholders and you’ll need to work closely with them to understand and support their
  • needs
  • Attention to detail
