SAP Basis Consultant (Project Assignment – T-Systems Related)

We are searching for a SAP Basis Consultant to join our Team and work with an IBA strategic client. As the SAP Basis Consultant, you will be contributing to the success of our customer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary coordination point for SAP Basis topics between internal teams, external partners (T-Systems), and project stakeholders.
• Lead project planning, timeline management, and resource coordination specific to SAP Basis activities.
• Translate technical requirements into actionable project tasks, ensuring deliverables are on track.
• Coordinate and oversee Basis-related activities such as system migrations, upgrades, and transformations, while escalating technical execution to specialized teams.
• Participate in governance meetings, steering committees, and project reporting.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and client-specific policies and procedures.
• Support risk management, issue tracking, and change management processes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant with a strong understanding of SAP landscape management.
• Demonstrated strong project management skills – PMP, Prince2, or equivalent certifications are advantageous.
• Experience coordinating SAP projects with large service providers like T-Systems is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP system migrations, SAP HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform environments is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and drive complex coordination activities in a structured way.
• Fluent in English.
• German language skills are a strong advantage.
