    With our cutting-edge solutions - both mobile and web applications - we help publishers and media companies to reach millions of readers. Our customers distribute more than 25,000 publications per month through our systems, and our portfolio includes the largest publishing and media companies in Germany (such as the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, Die Zeit, Madsack, Ippen, Axel Springer, etc). We have been operating in the industry since 2009 and successfully create market-leading software solutions using the latest technologies.

    We are looking for a Java Developer to join our team (30 Devs) remote ASAP.  The right candidate shall bring experience in complex projects and teams and have at least 5+ years of experience developing Web Apps and SAAS systems.
     
    Required practical knowledge in the following areas:

    • project analysis
    • defining and assigning tasks to other team members 
    • designing and testing code 
    • code review
    • analytical thinking
    • proactivity
    • communication skills
    • good knowledge of Design Patterns
    • positive attitude

    Must have:

    • very good knowledge and experience with JAVA (6 and 8+) language on J2EE platform (JPA, EJB3, JSF) 
    • knowledge and practical experience of Hibernate, Spring (Spring Boot), PrimeFaces, JMS
    • practical experience with JIRA, Confluence, SVN/GitLab, Maven
    • practical experience with MySQL or other databases
    • experience with unit testing, integration testing
    • familiarity with Linux and bash
    • English B2 spoken/written
      
    Nice to have:

    • experience with Kafka, Zookeeper
    • experience with NoSQL (big data) databases (MongoDB, sharding, zones) 
    • knowledge of application servers: Glassfish/Payara, Tomcat
