About the Role

We’re hiring a Lead Infrastructure Engineer for our client – an ambitious startup building the universal integration layer for B2B software. Their platform helps software companies ship and scale integrations faster using infrastructure, code, and AI.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you’ll take full ownership of infrastructure – from cloud architecture to developer tooling. You'll work closely with a high-caliber engineering team to ensure the infra layer is secure, scalable, and nearly invisible to developers.

Your Responsibilities

✅ Own and evolve the cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS) with focus on scalability, security, and reliability

✅ Improve observability – implement logging, monitoring, and tracing to detect issues proactively

✅ Optimize deployment workflows – enhance CI/CD pipelines and improve development experience

✅ Automate and harden systems – failover, uptime, performance, and cloud cost optimizations

✅ Be a force multiplier – mentor other engineers and shape our infrastructure practices

✅ Collaborate cross-functionally to keep things shipping fast and safely

What We’re Looking For

✔️ Proven experience building and operating cloud infrastructure at scale (preferably on AWS)

✔️ Strong with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, CDK, etc.)

✔️ Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes

✔️ Experience in building observability tooling and debugging distributed systems

✔️ Security-minded with focus on reliability and developer velocity

✔️ Self-directed, communicative, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-trust environment

Bonus Points For

⭐ Experience with multi-cloud environments, fast-scaling startups, or building internal dev tools

⭐ Familiarity with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and Redis

⭐ Interest in SaaS infrastructure, integrations, or AI-powered dev tooling
