What you’ll do

• Collaborate closely with a Scrum development team to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile platform solutions for both iOS and Android.

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases, covering both manual and automated testing processes.

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure applications meet quality standards.

• Identify, document, and manage defects using bug tracking tools, and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, providing insights and updates on testing progress as well as review user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.

• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, adopting best practices and new technologies to enhance quality assurance.

• Stay updated with the latest mobile testing trends and tools to ensure the adoption of cutting-edge practices.

• Conduct usability testing to ensure a seamless user experience across different devices and Platforms and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Proven experience as a Mobile QA Tester, with a focus on testing iOS and Android applications.

• Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks such as Appium, Selenium, or similar as well as experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working within a Scrum team.

• Strong knowledge of mobile operating systems, devices, and testing best practices.

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.

• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or similar. 

• Knowledge of programming languages for test automation, such as Java or Python, is a plus
