CIB includes Global Payments Solutions (GPS), Global Trade Solutions (GTS), Markets & Securities Services (MSS), Investment Banking, Global Coverage and key geographies in Europe and the Americas.

The CIB & HBEU GCIO function comprises a global team of circa 16,000 staff worldwide and an annual operating budget of approximately $2bn. The CIO for CIB reports into the Group CIO who is responsible for circa 60,000 staff and an annual operating budget of approximately $7 billion.

What you’ll do

• Work closely with Global Area Leads, Heads of Operations Management, Procurement, Cost and Contract Managers and wider teams/stakeholders to deliver common objectives in 3rd party space.

• Ensure renewals/pipeline is managed with sufficient time to scrutinise and/or make changes.

• Analyse options and support the development of Business Cases.

• Review existing contracts – assess SLA’s and other T&C’s to ensure vendor service is meeting requirements.

• Process improvement across the end-to-end pipeline management and reviews through to approvals.

• Working with Operations Management representatives and Finance to identify, plan and execute cost optimisations initiatives.

• Ensure alignment of key parties to agree objectives and support the development of the Tech/Business strategy to deliver.

• Provide 3rd party requirements and support Procurement with commercial negotiation, assessment, and deal structuring.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Proven track record (5+ years) in technology vendor management role within the financial services industry.

• Strong understanding of Technology landscape, industry and operational management requirements for banks and knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven decisions to drive business outcomes.

• Ability to translate technology strategy and align with vendors accordingly.

• Strong stakeholder management capability and excellent communication at all levels of seniority.

• Experience in development of business cases, initiative execution, and benefits realisation.

• Deep financial and commercial awareness.

• Contract knowledge and able to design contracts to meet the requirements of the business.

What we offer

The pay range for this role is 20 134 PLN – 29 000 PLN (monthly, gross).

Additional car allowance in the amount of 4786 PLN (monthly, gross).

Variable pay is discretionary, but influenced by Group performance, business/function performance and individual performance.
