F24 is a Strategic Program to migrate Fraud Monitoring from current Product and Tooling to new products and tooling. The hiring requirements are part of this wider program where Fraud Monitoring system will be migrated from SAS EFM to Feedzai for UK Payments and Digital transactions.

As Test Manager, you will be the day-to-day management of the automation engineering and delivery teams, leading the engineering delivery activities which involves the co-ordination between various internal and external engineering and architecture teams. An experienced Test manager, you should be comfortable in managing a highly performant cross functional teams including software engineers. You own the day-to-day management of the team, including engaging and supporting of new team members and ensuring the team can perform

at their best.

What you’ll do 

• Manage the PODs for F24 Programme as well as Design and implement regression test suite.

• Evaluate our current test strategy & looking for constant development and improvement as well as liaise with developers and stakeholders to scope and estimate testing requirements.

• Write & execute test cases and test plans.

• Ensure every team member has realistic objectives and support them achieving their goals

• Provide technical expertise for Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and automated release management as well as technical leadership in working with infrastructure teams and pod engineers to deploy automation improvements.

• Provide operational expertise across technologies including Jenkins, GitHub, for Java applications on Linux and Oracle database and ensure incorporation and testing of non-functional requirements including meeting necessary controls (e.g. Security).

• Work with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to recover from operational issues, and provide out of hours support for product releases.

• Challenge to team to improve on process and inspire them to find new better ways of working.

What you need to have to succeed in this role 

• Knowledge of Tools / Methodologies such as: GCP, strong SQL/ Oracle, Scrum/Kanban, JIRA/Confluence, AppDynamics, Splunk or similar monitoring software

• Knowledge of web services & tools e.g. Postman

• Knowledge of Java, Javascript (practical programming knowledge)

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as Confluence, JIRA

• Ability to lead and own technical delivery of automation.

• Experience rolling out improvements of technical software delivery processes.

• Ability to identify application reliability and availability improvements, and establish and build solutions to drive improved experience.
