This is individual contributor role responsible for the Project and Finance portfolio management along with Workforce Management (WFM) for the GPS CBCC work stream.

The role would support the Chief of Staff CBCC for Governance and Transformation to establish the controls and visibility for the portfolio and WFM.


What you’ll do


  • Participate in the daily, weekly and monthly reviews of project financial reports along with summarizing the overall positions for senior management regarding headcounts, rates and position changes.

  • Own budgets, forecasts, and plans with all stakeholders end-to-end along with presenting the summary on regular basis for Executive Committee/Management Committee/ Senior management decision making purposes. Work on Annual Technology Budgets, Change the Bank, Run-the-Bank, Manage the Bank cost structures across the stream for controlled governance.

  • Be the primary facilitator for our globally located stakeholders to get through with the procurements, renewals and maintenance, Statement of Works (SOW) of varied nature (software, Hardware, resources etc.).

  • Execute the reviews on workforce/headcount status and helping with the projections, rates, FTE spreads over the year.

  • Analyse and provide commentaries on the plan, budget, actual usage along with the forecasting for annual portfolio spend of >= USD 60-70 million for large global programs across the board.

  • Accurate control of rolling forecast positions for keeping track with corresponding numbers to be in line at every monthly / yearly cycle.

  • Present the financial metrics to senior management, proactively identifying the causes of variances and defining mitigating steps thereof.

  • Be responsible for closely tracking and managing of different transformational spends like Cost to Achieve (CTA) programs.

  • Report to BM/PM teams in explaining monthly/quarterly/annual positions, finance reporting and contribute to governance forums/steering committees with required data/reports on need basis.


What you need to have to succeed in this role


  • Experience with controllership of portfolio/ project financials, workforce management and governance analysis.

  • On-hands experience in managing non-financial matrices, financial and non-financial presentations, and core analysis for global portfolios.

  • Experience on working in a matrixed organization handling Business Management/ Project Management/ Project Finance duties.

  • Expertise in ExCo. ManCo and Top-Level Management reporting exposure along with varied reporting tools awareness and familiarity like Clarity PPM, Discover, BI, Excel and PPTs.

  • Conversant with finance metrics, ability to produce relevant reports and present/explain to senior stakeholders’ / steering committees.


Nice to have

  • Leadership skills, internal and external relationship management, knowledge on project budgeting, annual technology plan (ATP) and/or annual operating plan (AOP) and a professional with solution-oriented execution attributes would be an added advantage.
