As an EnaDlement Services DevOps engineer within Engi needing Foundations, you will De part of team implementing a CI/CD engineering platform as a service in AWS. This will provide CI/CD services to the Digital development community on a cloud platform, allowing us to redress issues faced with the HSBC on premise CI/CD services such as capacity, scaIing, cost, chargeDack and environment consistency. Our CI/CD services are being re-architected in a cloud centric manner and deployed into our cloud platform as consumaDle services.

You have the chance to De part of this migration to the cloud helping to design and deliver solutions within a complex and interesting li nancial enterprise environment. Your responsiDilities will range from Deing a technical innovator, a subject matter expert, a mentor & guide, a consultant and a trouDle-shooter.

What you'll do

⦁ Work closely with the product and delivery teams for BAU and project deliveries.

⦁ CollaDorate with the architects in planning and designing the Dest of solution.

⦁ Efficient management of compliances and vulnerabilities associated with service.

⦁ Work along with wider central teams on managing dependencies and working out with compliances

fixes.

⦁ Give your Dest with always thinking ahead of time and always having an automation mindset.

⦁ Participate with the PI planning, present your ideas and views with the solutions used within value

streams.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

⦁ Essential technical skills: AnsiDle, AnsiDle Tower (AWX), AWS, Terraform, Groovy, Git, Maven, Jenkins Enterprise or any other CICD tools, CICD pipelines.

⦁ Desirable technical skills: Splunk, Java, Basn, Python, Kubernetes, Docker.

⦁ Knowledge of automation, orchestration, and monitoring tools.

⦁ Have experience designing and building services in tne puDlic cloud (ideally AWS), architecting for failure.

⦁ Experience developing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines across multi ple technology stacks.

⦁ Experience in highly availaDle, highly scalable architectures.

⦁ Be comfortaDle following Scrum methodology and working within an agile, multidisciplinary team.

⦁ Great communication - convey your thoughts, ideas and opinions clearly and concisely face-to-face or virtually to all levels up and down stream.
