QA Engineer

Currently, we are seeking a QA Engineer (PHP) for our client, an international IT product company.

🏆 Role: As a QA Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications. You will design and execute tests (manual & automatic - functional & integration) throughout the software development lifecycle to maintain high standards of functionality and user experience.

💰💰Salary: up to 16,000 PLN gross per month (CoE/UoP)

Responsibilities:

Testing:

📍 Establishing, designing and executing quality assurance practices and methodologies including test plans and test cases,

📍Ensuring the overall success of testing process,

📍Establishing the purpose and deliverables of the test effort,

📍Providing resource planning, management, and resolution of issues that impede the test effort,

📍Ensuring the appropriate level of quality by resolving critical defects and collaborating with developers to integrate sufficient testing into the software development process, 

📍Creating effective manual and automated test plans, using a variety of toolsets,

📍Performing black and white box testing as required,

📍Collaborating with development during all stages of projects to provide in-process testing results,

📍Organizing teams to test, evaluate, validate new functions and applications to identify issues in software or services,

QA:

💎Defining, developing, and implementing quality assurance practices and procedures, test plans, and other QA evaluations,

💎Developing automated testing systems using commercial tools, scripts, and datasets, 

💎Ensuring all items follow the change management process and are entered and tracked through the change management software (GitHub Actions). 

Requirements:

📍Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience,

📍At least 3-5 years of experience working with a structured software methodology and software test experience as well as working knowledge of PHP used for test automation,

📍​Proficiency in automating diverse aspects of products, encompassing the planning,

development, maintenance, and execution of automated test scripts and libraries for

regression, performance, and build verification testing endeavors, 

📍Experience with Scrum development processes and Engineering IT experience – managing development, QA, Build and Automation servers,

📍Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery) and SQL, UNIX commands, web servers,

📍Working knowledge of Docker containers and Docker Engine. Experience with virtual machines (VirtualBox, VMware). Familiarity with Git as a distributed version control system (GitHub),

📍Good Knowledge of Content Management Systems and/or Digital Experience Platforms.
