We are looking for Senior Data Platform Engineer with Databricks and Azure experience to further strengthen the team of our client, a global security services company that provides guarding, monitoring, and technology-driven solutions.

You will work with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Factory to develop robust, scalable data pipelines, data models, and governance frameworks. This is a hands-on role that involves both building pipelines and advising on architecture and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Databricks pipelines and workloads in production

• Apply Lakehouse architecture (bronze-silver-gold) and Delta Lake / DLT

• Implement data models and pipelines for analytics and reporting

• Ensure data quality, incremental processing, and CDC patterns

• Manage Unity Catalog, access control, and platform governance

• Integrate Azure services (ADF, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault)

• Optimize performance, cost, and scalability of data workloads

• Advise teams on architecture, best practices, and platform design

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

• At least 5+ years previous experience in similar roles

• Strong Databricks experience in production

• Experience with Lakehouse architecture and Delta Lake

• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering

• Azure ecosystem experience: ADF, ADLS Gen2, Key Vault

• Understanding of data modeling, incremental processing, and data quality

• Ability to design end-to-end solutions and discuss architectural trade-offs

• Fluent English

• Experience working in consulting is a plus

• Location - Poland or other EU country

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

• Delta Live Tables (DLT) experience

• Unity Catalog and data governance experience

• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Azure DevOps / CI/CD pipelines
