We are looking for Senior Data Engineer with Databricks and DBT experience to join a team of our client - a Swedish based company, that specializes in the production of specialized chemicals. You will potentially join their migration project from SSIS to Databricks + DBT Core.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data lakehouse solutions in Databricks.

• Analyze legacy pipelines and data transformation to rebuild them in a greenfield approach in line with new architecture and policies.

• Migrate legacy semantic models and integrations to lakehouse platform.

• Ensure data quality, traceability, and performance across the platform.

• Act as a senior developer, providing best practices in modeling, testing, and deployment.

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies: 

• 7+ years of relevant experience with demonstrated history of success in delivering Big Data & Analytics solutions. 

• Strong expertise in Databricks and dbt, with proven experience in data modeling and SQL data warehousing.

• Proactive consultant with customer-facing experience, responsible for gathering client needs, converting them into technical architecture, and presenting solutions and recommendations. 

• Expertise with the following tech stack: 

  • Azure Databricks architecture - administration, governance, optimization, design, and implementation.

  • dbt - excellent SQL data transformation skills, testing and automation

  • Azure Data Factory 

  • SQL Server DB

  • SQL Server Integrations Services (SSIS)

  • Power BI

  • Azure Cloud Infrastructure

• Excellent communication and presentation skills 

• Excellent English communication skills 

• Preferable location: Poland or EU 

It would be a great plus if you possess relevant certifications like:

• dbt certified developer (or equivalent)

• Databricks Certified Architect (or equivalent)
