We are seeking a Platform (Observability) Team Lead to establish and manage an operations project team, drive best practices in incident and change management, and ensure seamless observability integration. This role involves overseeing release management, quality assurance, and risk mitigation while continuously improving processes for efficient operations.

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

• 8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering with focus on Observability and recent experience in Team/Project Management
• Strong expertise in observability principles, tools, and architectures.
• Experience with open-source observability stacks (Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger, Object Storage).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD (GitLab, ArgoCD) and security management.
• Fundamental understanding of IT Service Management (Incident, Change, Problem Management).
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience in critical infrastructure environments (Telco, FinTech, Military, etc.).
• Fluent English (minimum C1 level).
• Location and willingness to work in hybrid mode in Berlin

Nice to have:

• Experience with cloud-based services
• Experience with CI/CD, helm-charts/terraform, and general automation of setup and configuration of tooling to enhance IAM processes and workflows
• Familiarity with advanced security concepts, such as Zero Trust
• Working with Scrum and general experience in agile frameworks
• Experience in implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and identity federation solutions.
• Project management skills and experience working in a scaled agile environment.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) and their services
• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools
• Experience with operations in hyperscalers (GCP and others)
