🚀 We are looking for AI/ML Engineer to join our client's engineering team, where you will be involved in developing and deploying large language models and agentic workflows for healthcare use cases. You will refine LLMs to understand clinical data, fine-tune models on hospital-specific datasets, and build agentic pipelines to automate tasks like generating discharge summaries and recommending care plans,

Your main responsibilities will include:

1. LLM Fine-Tuning: Customize pre-trained models (e.g., GPT-based) on proprietary clinical datasets from the hospital’s EHR, ensuring patient privacy.
2. Developing workflows using frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI to orchestrate multi-step clinical tasks (e.g., gather patient history, draft a summary, perform quality checks).
3. Production Deployment: Containerize LLM-based services with Docker and deploy scalable endpoints on hospital infrastructure or HIPAA-compliant cloud environments.
4. Data Preprocessing: Create pipelines to de-identify and structure EHR data (notes, lab results) for training and inference.
5. Model Evaluation: Define and run evaluation metrics (e.g., ROUGE scores, clinical accuracy) against a validation set of discharge summaries and clinical notes.
6. Performance Optimization: Implement techniques like quantization or distillation to reduce latency and memory usage in real-time inference.
7. Working with backend and EHR integration teams to ensure data flows securely into and out of AI modules.
8. Writing clear documentation for model architectures, training processes, and inference APIs.

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

1. 5+ years of previous commercial experience as ML/AI Engineer, preferably with prior experience working on NLP projects in healthcare, such as clinical note summarization or medical entity extraction.
2. NLP & LLM Expertise: Strong background in transformer-based models (Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API) and prompt engineering.
3. Agentic Frameworks: Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar agentic workflow tools.
4. Proficiency in Python, Pandas, and tools for handling EHR data, including clinical text and structured fields.
5. MLOps: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for ML deployments.
6. HIPAA Awareness: Understanding of how to manage and protect PHI during model training and inference.
7. Experience with multi-GPU or distributed training setups for large models.
8. Knowledge of techniques like pruning, quantization, or knowledge distillation to optimize model performance
