We are looking for Senior Python Backend Engineer.

Join a pharmatech project with a mission to revolutionize drug discovery and development. We offer the opportunity to start your journey from February 1st, 2025, so we encourage applications from candidates available from this date.

About the project:

Collaborate with a company dedicated to discovering, designing, and developing the best possible drugs in the fastest and most effective way.

Your role:

• As part of this team, you will contribute to groundbreaking treatments for complex diseases, playing a key role in their discovery.
• You’ll work on cutting-edge projects aimed at reducing the time and cost of drug development, bringing life-saving treatments to millions faster.
• Your expertise will help scale precision medicine through innovative computational methods, pushing the boundaries of what technology can achieve in healthcare.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• UoP: 16 000 – 19 000 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 130 – 155 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you have:

• Expertise in Python with at least 4 years of hands-on experience and confidence working with the language.
• Practical knowledge of microservices architecture and its implementation.
• A proactive mindset, with a proven ability to drive ideas forward and take ownership of complex challenges.
• Experience in optimizing frameworks for performance under diverse and complex workloads.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Redis.
• A solid understanding of API Gateway or Service Mesh concepts such as Istio.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Knowledge of the Dapr framework.
• A BSc degree in Computer Science, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Interest in Life Sciences or Drug Discovery.
• Familiarity with engineering best practices, including planning epics, writing tests, and developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working with GCP or AWS cloud platforms.
