DBT & Snowflake Engineer

We are looking for  an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at a leading Swedish manufacturing company. You will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing business intelligence and analytics tools for the finance stream, and contribute to an exciting migration project from on-prem to cloud. This is an excellent opportunity to work with cutting-edge data technologies and be part of a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and drive the backend development of the proprietary business intelligence (BI) and analytics tool in the Finance stream.
• Develop and optimize solutions using Snowflake and DBT to enhance data modeling, reporting and analysis capabilities.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless code integration and efficient development workflows.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure that data engineering needs are aligned with overall project goals, particularly in the context of migrating from on-premises infrastructure to cloud solutions.
• Work with cloud-based data solutions, especially during the migration process from on-premises to cloud environments (AWS, or Azure).

We offer a B2B Contract: 130-160 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
• Expertise in Snowflake and DBT (essential).
• Strong background in data engineering, data modeling, and database management.
• Solid experience in CI/CD pipelines and integration.
• A passion for problem-solving and developing innovative solutions for data analysis and reporting.
• Proactive communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
• Fluent English for smooth collaboration in an international environment.
• Location in Poland to facilitate collaboration and attendance at occasional team meetings.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Experience in migration projects, specifically moving from on-prem to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or similar).
• Experience working on Finance reporting projects.
• Experience in leading and working in large, diverse development teams and projects.
