Data Engineer with DBT, Snowflake and Terraform

We are looking for two Data Engineers to join a team of leading Swedish investment client with a global presence. It's fulltime role, preferred on site in Warsaw, with remote flexibility. You will involve working closely with an international team to build a strong data foundation to support data-driven HR strategies. Your contributions will help to unlock the full potential of HR data to drive better decision making within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data pipelines to process large volumes of HR data.
• Develop and maintain data models using DBT to ensure structured and accessible data.
• Integrate data sources using Fivetran and manage the flow into Snowflake.
• Build data validation and testing frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Implement data governance policies to ensure the safe handling of sensitive HR data.
• Collaborate with teams across geographies to align data efforts with HR strategies.
• Automate infrastructure management with Terraform.
• Use Git for version control and help HR users create PowerBI dashboards.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract 

• UoP: 16 000 – 20 000 PLN gross/month
• B2B: 140 – 170 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• At least 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, ideally in HR or people analytics;
• Knowledge of DBT, Fivetran, Snowflake and SQL;
• Strong understanding of data governance and handling of HR data (preferred sources such as Workday, Greenhouse, Culture Amp);
• Experience of version control using Git and infrastructure automation using Terraform;
• Have a collaborative and co-creative mindset with excellent communication skills;
• Fluent English (C1) to work effectively with international teams;
• Availability to work at least 4 days at the office located near Rondo Daszyńskiego in Warsaw.

Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

• Many years of experience in data engineering and data analytics area;
• Familiarity with PowerBI for supporting core semantic models;
• Experience with data validation frameworks for ensuring data quality.
