We are looking for a talented and motivated Data Engineer to join our team working with a renowned global fashion company based in Sweden that is currently undergoing a major data transformation. This position is based in Poland and is perfect for someone with a strong technical background, who is passionate about developing and optimising data products within the Data Mesh framework. You'll be an integral part of the AI, Analytics & Data department, driving the organisation's data-driven innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Take end-to-end responsibility for building, optimising and supporting existing and new data products in line with the target vision.
- Champion a DevOps mindset, managing CI/CD pipelines and Terraform, while maintaining cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Ensure data products are self-contained deployment units that meet standards for security, scalability, observability and performance.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to shape the vision for data products and explore new data solutions to meet customer needs.
- Collaborate with product teams inside and outside the domain on issues related to the Data Mesh concept.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts, reduce technical debt and maintain expertise in the latest data, analytics and cloud technologies.

We offer a choice of employment form: B2B or Employment Contract
- UoP: 15 400 – 18 500 PLN gross/month
- B2B: 130 – 155 PLN net/hour + VAT
You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

4+ years' experience as a Data Engineer in modern cloud data platforms;
- Profound knowledge of GCP services (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Cloud Composer etc.);
- Working knowledge of SQL and Python;
- Hands on experience with DBT and Terraform;
- Knowledge of GitHub, DevOps principles and CI/CD practices;
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, co-creative mindset;
- Experience of working with Agile methodologies;

Fluent English (C1) to work effectively in an international team;

Location in Poland to facilitate collaboration and attendance at occasional team meetings.
Moreover, we appreciate skills in these areas:

GCP Professional Cloud Certification;
- Basic understanding of Azure;
- Background in ETL tools such as Informatica or similar;

Many years of commercial experience in data engineering and data analytics roles.
