About the role:

As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for engaging with the business units of each division to work on pre-defined and ad-hoc programs. You will work alongside the Enterprise Architects to provide architecturally aligned, cost-efficient solutions for business units demands. Understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities / Capabilities:

·       Design, deve­lop, and imple­ment IT solu­tions that meet the needs of the busi­ness

·       Pro­ven exper­tise & cer­ti­fi­ca­tion on IT archi­tec­tu­ral fra­me­works and tools

·       Skills and know­ledge neces­sary to design, deploy, and manage Enter­prise Solu­tions

·       Work with the busi­ness to ensure that solu­tions are ali­gned with the com­pany’s stra­te­gic goals

·       Col­la­bo­rate with other archi­tects and engi­ne­ers to ensure that solu­tions are con­si­stent with the com­pany’s archi­tec­ture stan­dards

·       Stay up-to-date on the latest tech­no­lo­gies and trends

·       10 years’ expe­rience wor­king within the IT Mana­ge­ment area advi­sing busi­ness sta­ke­hol­ders in their trans­for­ma­tion jour­ney

·       Be results-orien­ted and ensure both the group’s and your own per­for­mance

·       Be able to ana­lyze infor­ma­tion flows, see con­nec­tions, pat­terns and draw boun­da­ries

·       Have good leader­ship quali­ties and the abi­lity to see the whole pic­ture and pre­sent infor­ma­tion that is rele­vant in the con­text

·       Have good coope­ra­tion skills, be help­ful and have a good atti­tude and drive

·       Have the abi­lity and wil­lin­gness to learn new things, be fle­xi­ble and be able to adapt to chan­ges

·       Strong under­stan­ding of enter­prise archi­tec­ture prin­ci­ples and prac­ti­ces

·       Expe­rience with a variety of IT tech­no­lo­gies and plat­forms

Demon­stra­tes a basic under­stan­ding of TOGAF and its prin­ci­ples.

Can apply TOGAF to deve­lop and manage IT archi­tec­ture pro­jects.

Has expe­rience using Archi­Mate to visu­alize and ana­lyze IT archi­tec­tures.

Can arti­cu­late the spe­ci­fic featu­res and func­tio­na­li­ties of ERP and PLM sys­tems used in the manu­fac­tu­ring indu­stry.

Solu­tion Tailo­ring

Can tailor IT solu­tions (e. g., Pri­cing solu­tion) to meet the spe­ci­fic needs of a manu­fac­tu­ring com­pany’s IT land­scape.
