Snow Technical Analyst

Skill Profile:
•
ITIL Foundation is preferred
•
Working knowledge of a Snow Software and/or Snow Atlas
•
Worked on OLAP Tool (BI (Analysis Studio, Report Studio, and Query Studio), Business Objects, etc.)
•
Working knowledge on SQL DB and query.
Roles and Responsibilities:
➢
Install / Implement / Upgrading / Reinstall Snow Platform and/or Snow Atlas
➢
Install / Implement / Upgrading / Reinstall Snow Extender / Gateway
➢
Validate the data coming in Snow SLM from different data sources and take necessary action to fix it in case of any discrepancy.
➢
Configure scheduled jobs/CRON Jobs
➢
Able to create signature / rules in SRS
➢
Snow Agent T/S on Agent inventory and data source connections
➢
Understanding & Ability to create Snow Agent package, support installation teams & troubleshooting in case of any issue.
➢
Regular provision of information about the installed / used software on all assets (client, server, host, etc.)
➢
Understanding of scripting and XML
➢
Preparing Entitlement and Deployment reports for clients
➢
Able to build connectors (Inventory and Web Configuration) for integration with different data sources
➢
Should have good understanding of how Infrastructure of the Tool solution works (Database – SQL Server & Oracle, Servers, etc.)
➢
Create custom license metrics based on the software licensing model
➢
Assisting in Software Asset Management (SAM) audits
➢
Able to download the Latest version of Tool Catalog and update it in the environments
➢
Ensuring 100% process adherence and delivery within the defined SLA
➢
Conduct regular quality checks for team members.
➢
Understanding IT environments and infrastructure including Networking, Active Directory, User Management, Hardware and Software Virtualization, API
➢
Knowledge of Licensing and compliance positions.
