Position Overview:

Installation and Configurations of RHEL Linux OS, RHEL7, RHEL8 and RHEL9

· Managing RHEL Linux cluster (HA) and other cluster technologies.

· Managing Redhat Satellite server for Linux server patching and server upgrade from RHEL7 to RHEL8 or RHEL9

· Good understanding of Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, containers, and Ansible cloud management

· Good understanding of Linux tools, with an emphasis on curl, Wireshark and using GIT

· User Administration, Create, Delete and modify user and groups

· Linus OS FS, Network FS and Storage FS configuration and management. Creating Local volume and PV, VG, LV

· Network Config, NIC Bonding, Access providing

· Providing incident report details information, providing good customer service.

· Network config in new server, add in domain, patching, Health checkup of windows server.

· Experienced in Command centre Monitoring, Network Config on Linux

· OS access management, local group policy management, OS security hardening, Configuring Linux Security baseline, OS performance issues troubleshooting.

· Daily operations, P1, P2 & P3 incident, major change activity, Root cause analysis, change management

· Writing shell scripts to accomplish day to day system administration task

· Configuring and supporting domain on HP Superdome Servers

· Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue

· Capacity planning and fine tune system for optimal performances

· Understanding of SAN and NAS storage.

· Installation, configuration and Administration of Backup environment

· Administration of NIS or LDAP/ AD environment

· Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue

· Security Administration – Add/remove/Troubleshoot Security Policies.

· Tools Administration – Agent Installation.

· Device Management – Installing & Configuring devices.

· Syslog & Log management.

· Documentation – Systems/tool/Service management documents update.

· Process related activities, Scipts Maintenance.

· Ansible for automation.

Additional Skills

· Certified RHCE

Good knowledge and Experience with Kubernetes, containers, OpenShift platform
