Position Overview:

For one of our partners, we are seeking a Java fullstack who will be responsible for Frontend & Backend. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

In the role of Full stack developer, you will play a pivotal role in the entire development lifecycle, working on both the front-end and back-end of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, other developers & key stakeholders to build innovative, user-centric, and scalable web application.

Qualifications

Basic

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of web development fundamentals and SDLC

Requirements and Skills:

• Back-End: Advanced Python, AWS stack (Lambda computing, PostgreSQL databases, Amazon Bedrock)
• Front-End: Advanced TypeScript, Next.js React framework, customizing Shadcn-designed components, experience with statistical data visualization, time-series, and map visualizations
• Development Tools/Toolchain: Setting up Dev-Containers using Docker/Docker Compose, developing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, deploying components via AWS Lambda as well as Kubernetes as alternative to Lambda

Optional Skills

• Azure Stack: Especially Azure OpenAI Services
• Advanced Monitoring Tools
• Data Warehousing Solutions: Snowflake
• ETL Pipelines and Data Integration Tools

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers.
• Lead architectural decisions for the application in Microsoft Azure.
• Build the frontend of applications through appealing visual design.
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
• Write effective APIs.
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software.
• Create security and data protection settings.
• Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design.
• Write technical documentation.
• Work with data scientists and analysts to improve software. 

General Skillset Required:

• Close Collaboration: Close collaboration with client’s onshore teams, enabling low-cost travel for in-person meetings, workshops, and grooming sessions. Regular face-to-face interactions are essential to foster effective communication and teamwork.
• Integration and Teamwork: Proactive approach to integrating with in-house teams, ensuring effective daily cooperation and smooth collaboration between all team members, both internal and external.
• Communication Skills: High proficiency in English, effective engagement in meetings, and proactive communication, with team members equipped to minimize background noise.
• Technical Expertise and Experience: Proven track record of delivering projects with similar technical requirements, with senior-level expertise and strong skills in data management, data architecture, UI implementation, and Python.
• Pro-active and Autonomous Problem-Solving with a Holistic View: Ability to independently tackle complex issues with an understanding of broader project goals, proactively reading and understanding epics or features, and suggesting improvements.

Note: The candidate will be required to travel to customer locations in Spain or Germany
