Job Description

Requirements 

• Data Security tool experience & Good to have familiarity with DLP solutions such as Symantec, McAfee, Forcepoint, Digital Guardian, or Microsoft DLP solutions.  

• Ability to configure and manage these tools. Experience with endpoint protection platforms and the ability to enforce Data Security policies across devices. 

• Understanding of network architecture, protocols, and securing network data through traffic analysis, firewalls, and network monitoring tools 

• Knowledge of methods for classifying data based on sensitivity, such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII), intellectual property, or financial records, and how to protect it. 

• Managing Incident response 

• Knowledge of encryption methods (both at-rest and in-transit) to secure sensitive data. 

• Experience managing access to sensitive data, including role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and least-privilege principles. 

• Ability to assess risks related to data loss and identify vulnerable areas where Data Security policies should be enforced. 

• Experience in drafting and enforcing data protection policies aligned with business and regulatory requirements. 

• Understanding of how data flows within an organization and identifying points where data may be at risk. 

• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and work with different departments (legal, compliance, IT). 

• Ability to work with third-party vendors to implement or optimize Data Security solutions. 

• Knowledge of current data leakage and cybersecurity threats, including social engineering, insider threats, and advanced persistent threats (APTs). 

• Ability to integrate Data Security solutions with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems for enhanced monitoring and alerting. 

• Data Security Experience is Mandatory 10 to 13 years
