For one of our partners, we are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer who will be responsible for cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to contribute to the success of our partner organization.

Job Description below: -

Required Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2. 5+ years of experience in cloud security engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
3. Proven experience with DevSecOps methodologies and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
4. Hands-on experience with GCP security services including IAM, VPC Service Controls, Cloud Armor, KMS, Security Command Center.
5. Strong understanding of network security principles (firewalls, VPNs, load balancing, DNS) and their implementation on GCP.
6. Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) for automation and security tool development.
7. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform.
8. Solid understanding of security monitoring, logging, and alerting concepts.
9. Familiarity with common security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, OWASP Top 10).

Good to have Skills :

1. Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer certification.
2. Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms (e.g., Chronicle Security Operations, Splunk, Sentinel).
3. Hands-on experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes/GKE) and service mesh security (e.g., Istio).
4. Experience with advanced threat detection techniques, including behavioural analytics and machine learning for security.
5. Familiarity with compliance automation tools and security scorecards.
6. Experience in a highly regulated industry.

Strong understanding of incident response processes and forensic analysis in a cloud environment
