Opis stanowiska

Dla naszego klienta poszukujemy Data Platform Developera, który będzie odpowiedzialny za projektowanie, rozwój i utrzymanie nowoczesnych, skalowalnych rozwiązań event-driven.

Platforma opiera się m.in. na Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, kSQL, Kafka Streams, Spring Boot, Quarkus/GraalVM, MongoDB, GraphQL i Apache Iceberg.

Zakres obowiązków

• Projektowanie i rozwój rozwiązań opartych na Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams i kSQL.

• Tworzenie mikroserwisów w Java/Spring Boot.

• Rozwój integracji i konektorów Kafka Connect.

• Budowa API GraphQL oraz praca z MongoDB.

• Definiowanie i wersjonowanie schematów danych (Avro, Protobuf, JSON Schema).

• Automatyzacja procesów CI/CD i DevOps.

• Monitoring i observability z wykorzystaniem Prometheus, Grafana i OpenTelemetry.

• Optymalizacja i utrzymanie środowiska Kafka.

• Współpraca z zespołami Data Engineering, DevOps i Analytics w środowisku Agile.

Job description

For our client, we are looking for a Data Platform Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern, scalable event-driven solutions.

The platform is built around Apache Kafka, Kafka Connect, kSQL, Kafka Streams, Spring Boot, Quarkus/GraalVM, MongoDB, GraphQL, and Apache Iceberg.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop solutions based on Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, and kSQL.

• Develop microservices using Java/Spring Boot.

• Develop and maintain Kafka Connect integrations and connectors.

• Build GraphQL APIs and work with MongoDB.

• Define and manage data schemas using Avro, Protobuf, and JSON Schema.

• Automate processes using CI/CD and DevOps practices.

• Implement monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Optimize and maintain the Kafka environment.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering, DevOps, and Analytics teams in an Agile environment.

Wymagane doświadczenie

• Min. 3 lata doświadczenia w środowiskach produkcyjnych.

• Bardzo dobra znajomość Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, kSQL i Kafka Connect.

• Bardzo dobra znajomość Java i Spring Boot.

• Doświadczenie z MongoDB i GraphQL.

• Podstawowa znajomość Apache Iceberg.

• Znajomość Python.

• Doświadczenie z Prometheus, Grafana i OpenTelemetry.

• Znajomość TLS, SASL i ACL.

• Doświadczenie w pracy w Scrum/Kanban oraz znajomość Jira/Confluence.

Experience required

• 3+ years of professional experience in production environments.

• Strong knowledge of Apache Kafka, Kafka Streams, kSQL, and Kafka Connect.

• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.

• Experience with MongoDB and GraphQL.

• Basic knowledge of Apache Iceberg.

• Knowledge of Python.

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.

• Understanding of TLS, SASL, and ACLs.

• Experience working in Scrum/Kanban environments and with Jira/Confluence.
