Position Overview:

As the Senior Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building scalable, fast and highly available infrastructure and backend services powering our proptech AI agentic system from the ground up. You will take ownership of the key platform initiatives, utilising your extensive knowledge of the AWS and Python ecosystems.

This position is fully remote, though it requires periodic (e.g., quarterly) travel to London, alongside offsites in Poland. Ideal candidates will be proactive and eager to embrace challenges, possessing the autonomy to significantly influence product direction and oversee projects from inception through to launch.

You will:

• Develop a robust, scalable, high-performing platform for the AI system that consists of the API service and the AI engine, and powers our B2C and B2B product lines.

• Collaborate closely with the team to design the technical solution that transforms visionary ideas into tangible value for millions of users.

• Conduct thorough code reviews, engage in technical discussions as well as design sessions, and ensure adherence to best practices that uphold high standards of code quality and maintainability, co-creating a resilient platform.

• Take initiative in problem-solving, proactively identifying and addressing potential setbacks throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in platform and/or backend engineering, with expert-level proficiency in AWS, Terraform, Python, FastAPI, PostgreSQL (or other relational databases).

• Experience in modern software development patterns, including GitOps, IaC, CI/CD, observability, monitoring, containerization, and serverless architectures.

• Prior experience in developing B2B SaaS products, with InfoSec experience considered a strong plus.

• Experience developing infrastructure for genAI-powered applications and agentic systems is a strong plus.

• Experience with React and other frontend technologies is a strong plus.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment where rapid prototyping and iterative development are paramount.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead projects and interface directly with senior management.

• Fluent English at a minimum B2+ level, enabling effective communication in a professional setting..

Package:

• Starting base salary on B2B: 25,000 - 30,000 PLN monthly
